It is very easy and user friendly to set up. You can set the preferences where it is non-searchable and where anyone who wants to join must be approved by a “manager”. You can set as many managers as you wish. We have had some communication via the google group but I think we could all utilize it more. I personally think it is a great communication tool. At our Middle Tennessee Intergroup we have a google group set up for any Intergroup announcements that need to go out,that could be workshops,meeting times changing,general information such as our intergroup office moving,etc. We ask people at meetings if they would like to be included and add them if they do,that way it is one place that you can send an announcement and it have far-reaching effects. We also send our Intergroup minutes out that way also. It is a powerful tool. | |
